This is a public thank you note to my crew. Thanks guys for making me feel special on my birthday! Tierney, the cake was yummy. Rusty, I know you are still somewhat new, move quicker when there's cake in the building to get a piece. Zach thanks for the Seasme Street flashback. (I just love that pinball song where they sing to 12, don't ask me why)

Many friends have texted (is that an official word yet?) me special wishes. Thank you. I know many of you are spreadout throughout the country so it's nice that you remembered.

I know some dread their birthdays, especially when over age 30 (like me) but I love them. I wouldn't want to go back to my 20's for anything. I received a very lovely bouquet of purple flowers (my favorite) from a dear friend. Sometimes it can be unnerving, but it's also very nice in times like this that my friends know me so well. My parents got me two great gifts but besides the gifts I love blowing out the candles.

I've never kept track of my wish record, if the majority come true. However, I'm the ever-hopeful optimist and I'd like to think most of them have come true. Of course there's no way I can tell you what I wished for this year.
