As you've seen on our blog, Frank has said goodbye to his garden. Did you see the beautiful green tomatoes? He doesn't know what to do with them. Well, I've set him straight, fried green tomatoes of course! My favorite is with a side of ranch. Also another favorite that some might think as odd is fried pickles.

One of my favorite restaurants on the planet is located in Spring, Texas. It's just north of Houston and it's called "Puffabelly's." They make the best fried green tomatoes and pickles. Being here about six months, I haven't found a restaurant here in the Metro that serves them but I'm more than willing to look.

Let Frank and I know any recipes you might have for the great veggie. I'm more than willing to cook them up and take those great looking tomatoes off his hands.
