Pat Green Rocks Norman
Posted by: Julie Fike, Executive Producer
As many of you know, Texas singer-songwriter, Pat Green rocked the Riverwind Casino in Norman Saturday night. It was a sold out crowd. Pat and his band put on a terrific show.
Beforehand, I along with my friend Elizabeth met Pat. Thanks to him as his "people" Sean and Jeff for the opportunity. Pat was gracious and very funny. He was cutting up and shared a secret with Elizabeth, who was sporting my red stilletto heels. He was wearing red socks! We laughed and were on cloud 9 and made our way to our seats.
We soon found out we were sitting next to his Aunt Pat! She's an avid Eyewitness News 5 In the Morning viewer. I introduced myself and she asked "Are You Fried Green Tomatoes?" I laughed so hard and told her that yes, indeed, that was my arm on camera.
Hopefully, in the next couple of days, I'll be able to share our pictures. Elizabeth is getting help on moving the pictures from her digital camera to the computer. Stay tuned!

I was there too and you are right. He rocked the house. I was on the third row and center and got to do the whole Meet and Greet too. He is one awesome, down to earth guy. Glad you like him. Come join his fan club, the Dancehall at www.dancehall.patgreen.com

I left an anonymous blog, then decided I should register so you would know that I wasn't some looney. I watch channel 5 every morning before work and I love that you enjoyed the concert. Please come join us at the fanclub at www.dancehall.patgeen.com
Although I had to miss this particular show, it was great to hear that you had a totally awesome time! Pat is truly one of the BEST entertainers and deserves a lot more national recognition than he has yet received.
I echo Ginny's invitation to you -- check out The Dancehall, Pat's Official Fan Club. There are members from all over the country, all ages, all occupations, but we all share our love and respect for this talented singer/songwriter.
