The New Man in My Life
Posted by Tierney Cook
I have a new love.
My chiropractor.
I was rear ended last week, and two days after the accident came intense back and shoulder pain.
That is when a co-worker (actually 2 Julie and Rusty) suggested I meet with a chiropractor.
Already 1 week in and I am feeling the results.
It was a little scary at first since I had never seen a chiropractor, but now it's just a crack and pop to feeling better.
I have to admit the accident has given me a little anxiety when I slow down to stop, any advice on getting past that?
Let me know!!

Tierney,
I understand what you are going through. I saw a chiropractor a few years back for an unknown injury. I didn't know how I injured my back but I was having severe pains. It really helped. I do experience some anxiety when I brake my car but that's because I was in a near accident several years back which involved at least 10 cars on I-44. It still haunts me to this day. I deal with it by putting my trust in God and believing that He knows what's best for me. Also, congratulations on getting a trainer. I got a trainer earlier this year and he was very tough. Consequently, I got in decent shape. Unfortunately, I've gotten complacent recently but you've inspired me to get back on it. I'm getting back to the gym and laying out eating plans. I'm also talking with my former trainer so that I can train with him 2-3 times per week. Anyway, thanks and good luck! (Although I don't think you need it.)
