First of all...
I want to call out John, Julie, Adam, Priscilla and Frank.

Okay now to why I was out late last night.
I got to go to the special screening of the "Dreamgirls."
It does not open in theatres until December.
My mom took me to see the musical stage play when I was young, real young.
It came out in 1981, the original starred Loretta Divine, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Jennifer Holliday.
It's set in the 60's and is about three girls from Detroit who start a singing group and take the world by storm.
But their ride is bumpy. Breakups, infidelity, children out of wedlock its all weaved together and set to great hits that take you back to the Motown era.
THE PLAY WON 6 TONY AWARDS!!

Enough background, this time around Beyonce', American Idol's Jennifer Hudson and newcomer Anika Noni Rose take over the lead roles. Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover and Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx is also in the movie
I had a great time at the movie.
Watch out for Jennifer Hudson, I know Beyonce' is a big star and won a lot of Grammys
but in this movie Jennifer is so good it makes you say..."Beyonce' who?"

I hope you check it out when it hits theatres in December.
I think you will like it.

Oh yeah and sorry to the guy sitting in front of me last night.
My friend and I were singing off key all during the movie!!!
