Sea of Red

Posted by: Executive Producer, Julie Fike
I know I'm in the land of Crimson and Creme but there was a Sea of Red Sunday afternoon.
As you can see by the pictures, it was the Central Oklahoma Chapter of Arkansas Alumni.

I know you Sooners and Cowboys can relate to being around a group of good people all of which have a common thread. It's especially meaningful when you are all a long way from home. Just like the "Cheers" theme song, everybody seems to know my name and they'll always glad I came. Case in point, the President, Maria caught one glimpse of me and instantly shouted out, "Julie!" It was such a nice feeling. Ya know us Hogs have a great set of lungs on us. Just in case you are wondering, yes, we "Call The Hogs" at the beginning and end of each meeting.

In the pictures you may have also noticed, we did pass along the infamous Hog Hat to draw for door prizes. Again, to an outsider it might seen all strange, but to me and other Hogs in Sooner/Cowboy country, it's a little bit of home. Thanks to everyone who put on the Pignic at Tinker Air Force Base.
