My Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
Posted by Adam Slinger
Of all the Charlie Brown Christmas trees in the world, this is the Charlie Browniest.
I didn't get a true Christmas tree, at least not in the traditional sense. It's not an evergreen.
I actually haven't had a tree since I lived in Ohio. I thought seriously about getting one this year, but came to a better solution this past weekend...
I spiced up my fake house plant. The plant was selected by my mother when I moved in, decorated with the ornaments that she sent me.
In addition to the tree, I also have a little gold wreath, and a miniature Santa Claus.
I think it's safe to say that I didn't go all-out for Christmas.
I do enjoy the holiday, though. I have a few Christmas CDs, a few movies, I've eaten quite a few Christmas cookies this year. Yes, I could have purchased a new tree, but I realized that there was a tree-like object already in my home that would feel neglected and perhaps, needed a little holiday cheer itself. (Yeah, that sounds better than saying that I was just too lazy to get a real tree.)
As the precocious Linus Van Pelt once said, "I never thought it was such a bad little tree. It's not bad at all, really. Maybe it just needs a little love."

I see no harm in your choice of tree. Christmas isn’t about materialistic items but having the Christmas spirit! Besides that, I think your tree was an environmentally friendly option. Al Gore would be so proud!
I concur with the environmentally friendly tree choice. Your tree looks good to me.
yes, your tree is not harrible. Some may even say that it is OFF THE HOOK...
