Did you hear it?
The infection growing in my nose and throat?
It's there!

This time every year I get sick.
Either strep throat, tonsillitis, bronchitis or just a major cold!
This year it is feeling like a major cold.
That's good because with that I only need over the counter medication.
Don't worry I started self medicating last night.
I will have this cold licked by Friday!!!
I better my birthday is on Sunday and nothing is worse than being sick on your birthday.



Despite my sore throat and stuffy nose, I will get out and vote today!
There are many state questions that I need to brush up on.
My sorority sister (Tamya) sent me an email listing all the state questions on the ballot this year.
She is an attorney and has a knack for breaking down legal jargon so that you and I can understand it.
Thanks Tamya.
Oh yeah besides voting, and taking a lot of medicine this afternoon, I start my first day of tutoring at Emerson High School in downtown Oklahoma City.

I am really excited to meet the young lady I will be mentoring and tutoring.
I will tell you all about her in tomorrow's blog!

Man I will be busy today!
