I hate it more than math
Posted by: Executive Producer, Julie Fike
It's that time of year where everything is in bloom. I love seeing the buds on the trees and flowers coming out of winter hibernation. But there's one thing I cannot stand. I hate it more than math and I really, really hate math. It's cutting my grass.
I don't have that big of a yard but still it takes about 40 minutes to mow. I thank God I finally have discovered the trick to starting my pull mower. It takes 6 squirts of gas for it to start up on the first pull. I discovered that about 3 weeks ago. That is the silver lining in the whole process.
I used to pull and pull my guts out. Sometimes for more than a half hour before it would start.
Again, Buddy would just look at me like I'm the most imcompetent owner he'd ever seen. (See previous post, "Dog must think we're crazy")
The recent rains are a great story for Oklahoma and it being in a drought. But not so good for homeowners everywhere who hate to mow. The recent rain means my grass is loving it and growing to compete with the Amazon Jungle. So, you all know what Buddy and I are going to be doing today. Yep, the thing I hate more than math.
