My Smile Looks Better Now
Posted by Tierney Cook
D-(decay) Day has come and gone.
As you read in the previous post I had dental surgery on Friday.
But I soon found out instead of a root canal I needed a bridge.
The tooth still had to come out, and it still cost me a pretty penny.
I had to leave work early (9:00am) and head to the dentist.
After a two hour event of Novocaine, extraction, the blood curdling drill , and the suction thing the recovery process is underway.
I was prescribed a painkiller that does nothing but put me to sleep and a steroid that gave me a rash on my neck.
So I slept through most of Friday afternoon and night and was feeling better on Saturday.
It still throbs, and is sore of course, but it is not that bad.
My dentist suggested I not go to work today, but I am a trooper and showed up.
Thanks to everyone rooting for me during my dental ordeal, glad it's over.
Take it from me, floss. It makes all the difference.
