Muddy & Sweaty in Kingfisher
Posted by Tierney Cook
Muddy and Sweaty in Kingfisher.
That was how I spent my Monday, but believe me I was not alone.
There are a lot of residents who will spent another day cleaning up from the 6 feet of water that spent Sunday morning in their homes.
I spent the day in Kingfisher as part of our continuing coverage of Tropical Storm Erin.
I spoke with one business owner, an artist whose $50,000 machine is destroyed.
It's how he makes his money, and he does not have flood insurance.
He has to start all over.
Another guy had been through three floods in 12 years, of course he is frustrated and thinking of taking his business elsewhere.
Hope you add Kingfisher and the other Oklahoma towns affected to your prayer list.
