"Lost in Love"

How good is ABC's "Lost"? I mean, seriously....what an incredible show. I've watched every episode from the moment it first aired in September 2004 through last night's show. I was a fan of creator J.J. Abrams and "Alias", so I knew that Lost would be worth watching.

After the first episode, I asked myself, "How can the story go for more than about two seasons?", to now thinking, "How can it end before six seasons, or maybe seven, or never ending!"

Just like life, its roots come down to stories about people. Sure the smoke monster and The Dharma Initiative and the hatch with the computer is neat, but if Jack, Kate, Sawyer and the rest of the survivors of Oceanic flight 815 weren't so real, so layered, the show would have already been cancelled.

I think the most intriguing character on the island is Locke. Especially now that he is with "The Others". Just what did he see way back in Season One when Smokey paid him a visit? It obviously impacted him greatly.

I'll say, I've been going back and watching Season One the past few weeks (While I don't have much free time, I also don't have cable in my new home yet). I pick up on new things every time I rewatch an episode. I say "bunk" to those that think the producers are making it up as they go.

I think much will be revealed to the ultimate mystery of the island by the end of this season. For those of us who have stuck with the show (me and Tierney), it will be a great payoff and another layer of the onion we can watch being peeled back. For those who may have left, frustrated over the lack of answers (John), now is a great time to get Lost again.
